Chock full of friends, family, games, prizes, laughter and dirt – there’s fun for everyone! Stay with us at improved group site at Kaibab Lake Campground in your tent, trailer, or RV. Be sure to enter the salsa & dip contests, or you could simply sample and vote. Don't miss out on the fun! Grab the family and come spend a weekend with us. Don't be that person hearing about all the great stuff you missed for the next whole year! Sign up now! LOCATION KG1 & KG2 Group sites at Kaibab Lake Campground near Williams, AZ. Less than 3 hours from Phoenix, directions here... COST Camping Fee (includes 2 night stay in the KG1 and KG2 group sites): $60 includes 1 car/truck/SUV & a tent spot Add $10 for each additional car/truck/suv Add $40 for each small overland/military/bar-cart style trailer Add $80 for each travel trailer (camper) or RV - There's no more room for travel trailers or RV's currently! Please note that there are no hookups. Non-Campers Suggested Donation: This is ORP's annual fundraising event, and the reimbursement money from the campsite is our primary fundraising source. Folks that aren't camping can help out by making a donation of $15+ per adult. Our Club and Supporting membership upgrades only cover our absolute most basic operating costs and so we rely on this event to help fund the club. How to pay: If you pre-pay before Aug 1st, take $5 off your total! Pre-pay using Paypal or Zelle to info@offroadpassport.com - Please be sure to include your forum username and "Gala 2023" in the subject or notes field. Otherwise please bring your cash payment to the event. Refunds for pre-payments are not available after Aug 1st. ITINERARY Friday (9/15) Arrive anytime after 2 PM, most folks show up mid afternoon. Setup your campsite, meet & greet folks as they arrive! Dinner (self-prepared) Campfire social time! Saturday (9/16) Morning: Easy rated trail ride to the abandoned Grand Canyon Airlines hangar. For trail ride details click here... Late afternoon: NEW GAME! 2 person teams still (so partner up!) - but we're trying a new silly challenge this year! Annual salsa & dip contest after the game. Dinner time (self-prepared), then head back to the common area for... 50/50 raffle drawing, award prizes, and ORP announcements. Campfire social time, visit with old friends and get to know new folks! Sunday (9/17) Leisurely break camp, bid friends adieu & head home! (need to be out of group site by 1pm) IMPORTANT NOTES This is a family-friendly event! Please familiarize yourself with Offroad Passport's Pet Policy (click here)... Alcohol at camp is OK - please be responsible and respectful. ABSOLUTELY NO DRINKING & DRIVING! Please print, sign, and bring this form with you to the event (click here)... Be sure to bring everything you need for meals including stoves/dishes/etc. Annual Salsa & Dip Contest: Enter your homemade salsa or chip/veggie dip! Keep on ice until Saturday evening. That was seperate from the group site and fit our 45ft rv and we could fit another truck and trailer behind us too.
