WILL E 384 Posted January 16 (edited) I am not one for taking pictures but I do sport a dash cam and it gets some pretty decent video. K2man56, his wife and I went through Bulldog on Sunday. We managed to sneak in between the morning and evening rain showers. The trail was a little wet but not too bad. No dust and very few other rigs. We had a nice lunch at picnic spot 35. I recommend the Mac and Cheese from Nate's BBQ here in Mesa. It made a very nice side for our brats on a bun. K2man56 wife did the driving in their Jeep! She doesn't have much seat time (yet) but is a natural. She drove up the 'play hill' several times to get the feel for it. This video just shows some of the scenery. Coming in 3554 of Usary Pass is the way to go. (23 seconds) This is her first hill climb. She took the easier path this time but turned around and came back up the harder side a few times. (30 seconds) This is a bit of surprise by some side by sides coming around a blind corner. This next one is a show of stupidity on several levels. Driving too fast around a blind corner, one hand on the wheel and the other holding a beer. Basically it's why I keep the dash cam running on the trail. This wasn't the closest I have ever been to getting hit but it sure was for the bush! Edited January 16 by WILL E
4x4tographer 2,543 Posted January 17 Nice videos man! I need to make it out there for one of your Bulldog Runs. It's pretty rare I see an oncoming SxS doing less than 30-40mph. I've almost been creamed more times than I can count. Your dash cam is a darn good idea!
WILL E 384 Posted January 18 Dash cams are actually not very expensive, decent ones can be had for $70 to $100. And if it proves you are not at fault even once it is worth it.
