Bradywgn71 1,040 Posted December 21, 2023 (edited) Wanted to start a thread of offroad recovery companies you or someone you know has used. What ones can you recommend? For us, we needed to recover a Jeep that rolled recently. I first tried calling the highly recommended Arizona Offroad Recovery. This used to be Joe Ousch's company. He passed away, and another man took it over. I called twice and texted, and there was no response. Turns out he was doing a recovery in an area without service. He did text me back at 1am. After not being able to reach AZ Offroad, I ended up calling Underdog Towing in Prescott, which was recommended by the groups in our area. I hadn't ever used them before. Ethan from Underdog Towing communicated an accurate arrival time and kept in touch as he was coming. His first concern was that everyone was okay and didn't need immediate medical. He charges $200 an hour from when he leaves his shop to when he returns. I was impressed with how fast he drove to the roll-over site, assessed how to recover it, and then got the vehicle pulled out. He could have dragged this out and charged way more. He worked quickly but safely to recover the Jeep. I hope to not need to use his services again, but I would if I had to! I would recommend you print (and add to your cellphones) and keep these two recovery companies in your vehicles just in case: Arizona Offroad Recovery https://arizona4x4offroadrecovery.com/ 602-697-8306 Underdog Towing (Prescott) 928-533-1909 https://www.facebook.com/people/Underdog-Towing-and-Recovery/100054472719425/ Please note DO NOT use Tri City towing in the Prescott area. Heard personal opinions from multiple people about concerns with this company. Edited December 21, 2023 by Bradywgn71 2

Bradywgn71 1,040 Posted December 21, 2023 Hope you don't mind me posting the company used. I didn't want to share who got recovered for privacy. So thankful you and Evelyn are ok!! Hoping to see you back on the trails in the future!

dzJeepChic 2,926 Posted December 21, 2023 We are also so thankful that everyone is okay-ish today. Jeeps can be replaced; friends can't.

GTGallop 63 Posted December 26, 2023 Super Glad Everyone Came Out OK! I know after a roll like that there are bound to be some aches and pains but the fact that you are posting is a great sign. 👍 I notice that all respondents to the OP have Amateur Radio Call Signs. Don't forget to keep an AutoPatch Capable repeater programmed in your radio. Sometimes you can't get cell service but can get to a repeater. I've had to do that out towards Sheeps Bridge and was able to hit W7ARA on Mt. Ord, linked into Phoenix Shaw Butte and started an AutoPatch call. https://www.repeaterbook.com/repeaters/keyword.php?func=result&keyword=Autopatch&state_id=04
