Been looking into this for awhile now. kewl, thanks - i'd love to see more taco owners over here! we've got lots of Jeeps, and some FJ Cruisers lately - but not really any tacoma, 4runner, or landcruiser action... skygear 0 Posted January 22, 2013 Yeah, I lurked for a Long time. Check the logs my IP's would pop up frequently. Especially in this thread. BUT now is the time I'm getting everything together. I was handed a gift card to the local hardware store. $250 goes a long way there for this system. Especially when they are willing to "Special Order" components! theksmith 4,019 Posted August 18, 2014 Hello, Would you mind providing a link for the heat exchanger? Thanks, Brian in San Francisco this place seems to have a good price, and you can get the them with nearly any fittings you desire: http://www.dudadiesel.com/choose_item.php?id=HX1210 that link is to the 10 plate version, which worked well for me. theksmith 4,019 Posted January 5, 2016 after the recent "fell in a hole" incident (http://offroadpassport.com/forum/showpost.php?p=42505&postcount=9)... i needed to remove the main shower interface temporarily in order to bend some sheet metal back... i decided to leave the shower stuff out for now, and so i also removed the heat exchanger and most of the plumbing... it will be put back in eventually. i want to re-do some of the setup but i don't have time right now. there's nothing horribly wrong, but i learned a lot from doing the project and there are several things that i'd like to improve. mostly there are items that could be simplified and a couple things that could be made more reliable. you can look forward to version 2.0 sometime this year!
