from @dzJeepChic's 2010 trip report (this was the story i was trying to tell you guys about):

"Mid-morning George stopped on a rise to make sure everyone made it up a little technical section, and I walked ahead on the trail to find a hidden place to pee. As I stood and buttoned my pants I heard hoofs very nearby. Suddenly a wild horse appeared, and he noticed me at the same time I noticed him, both of us startled! He ran across the trail & up a rocky hill where a wire fence ran parallel to the road. He ran along it toward the rigs, nearly reaching them before he jumped over the fence and took off over the ridge. Three UTVs arrived just then, and the riders asked if we’d lost a horse; it’d been tracking them for miles they said."

the one watching us from the ridge this time was probably that horse's son or grandson. for generations the wild horses of Parson's Grove area have been trying to watch people pee. damn creepy perv horses!

My additional photo that wasn't more or less same as what was already shared.  I've some videos too, but need to chop them down to the good bits.  Thanks for the experience - it was way beyond expectation and an exceptional time.  Thanks to the leaders, and the gang in general.  You guys made a great route into an awesome trip!
