Jason Baker 11 Posted May 15 2015 JKU with 33" and 3.5" lift. I need to replace factory jack, it is bent, rusty, bad, and a bit small. I have a hi lift jack for off road/emergency but want an "everyday" jack. What are others using?? Bottle Jack? Replace with OEM jack? other scissor jack? Suggestions? Thanks, Jason
theksmith 5,778 Posted May 17 (edited) this is similar to the old Jeep XJ OEM jacks and Ford truck jacks, but lifts higher: https://amzn.to/4dtV5lw i had an XJ jack for many years, then got a scissor jack with an extension piece that lifted a bit further - but this is in my shopping cart currently to replace that one since it's more compact yet provides even more lift. i also carry an RV jack/stabilizer pad to act as a base in case the ground is soft. then if you happen to carry electric or pneumatic power tools with you, pair that jack with this adapter: https://amzn.to/4ugDWDb Edited May 17 by theksmith
