Did you know that our 2025 planning meeting is where most of our 2026 trips started their planning journey? Our volunteer trail bosses sketched the routes, picked the dates, planned out, and led the runs. Every trip, overland adventure, rock crawl, day trip, and event on the Offroad Passport calendar is coordinated, planned, guided, and led by a great cadre of volunteers. 100%. Hats off to that crew! Maps, notes, pamphlets, GPX files, route ideas. A great "make-it-happen' attitude. Half-baked ideas welcome! What’s the Goal? Offroad Passport is powered by volunteers! Identify volunteer trail leaders and plan out a calendar of official Members-Only and non-member trips throughout 2027. Get important dates on the calendar for long-term planning and de-conflicting (Holiday Party 2027, Gala 2027, out-of-state trips, etc.) Collaborate on outreach event ideas to grow the club and drive engagement. Plan trips/runs/events that appeal to our members and attract new ones! Trips can span easy day runs to extreme rock crawls - whatever you enjoy leading. What to Expect? Caffeine-fueled route planning (it is at Starbucks, after all) Camaraderie and collaboration Calendar wrangling A flurry of ideas Are you interested in leading a trip, but need a little help? That’s OK. Not familiar with an area? Someone at the meeting has probably been there. Need help route planning or mapping? We got you fam. Nervous to lead your first trip? Get the support and confidence you need. If you need help planning a run, ASK. There is a ton of experience and knowledge in the club, and people are always willing to help. Ready to be a Trail Boss?
