LaZorraRoja 205 Posted January 27, 2025 It lives. :) The last month has been a lot of small steps moving all the old parts to the long block and figuring out which seals needed to be replaced- but 2 days ago I started the new motor for the first time. Immediately I got a wheel sensor code and thought maybe it was a harness issue- today I got lucky messing with the wire leading to the sensor and found a break at the firewall. Fixed that (kinda) and all is good... So that's what I did to my rig today. 😀 3
Lichen 215 Posted March 5, 2025 I finally replaced the rear door lock gizmo. I wish all projects were this easy.
WILL E 525 Posted March 6, 2025 I got rid of another leak (leaks). A New power steering pump (leak 1), hoses and steering box (leak 2). I added a cooler and inline power steering fluid filter and replaced the intermediate shaft as well as the steering column 'lower bearing and assembly'. I didn't even know there was a 'lower bearing assembly' for my steering column but I sure could tell there was something wrong! It was a slog doing it on the garage floor and took me about a week of diddle farting but I got it done, drove it today and no leaks!
LaZorraRoja 205 Posted March 25, 2025 Yesterday we did a thing... Bought a trailer for overland trips so didn't need the rtt. Now I'm considering ditching the roof rack for a topper so the doggos have a space of their own. 2 1

Lichen 215 Posted May 21, 2025 After the Mogollon trip, I bought 3new gizmos. New cv half-shaft installed. New deflators as one wouldn't work and one fell apart. I also ordered a new sleeping pad.
