What did you do to your rig today?

Recommended Posts

Took the rear seats out my JKUR. Lots of room for gear now.

Replaced engine air filter over the weekend. Replacement is not OEM, the filter color difference may be a little exaggerated.

yesterday was super-clean day!

i took every single little piece of equipment, tools, accessories, electronics, etc. out of the Jeep and off the roof rack. then i used the compressor to give all the little nooks and crannies a good blowing out. after a good wash at the DIY wash, B and i took it to another wash for a mini interior detail.

this morning everything got put back in and then i enjoyed a drive to get breakfast with a spankin clean rig!

Did the same thing before my Mexico trip. Last thing I wanted was a 22 shell rolling out from under the seat at a military checkpoint.

What are you doing with the old ones, they look like there's still some life on them?

They don't have as much tread as the picture makes it look. Maybe 30% left. Selling them to a guy that works with my wife. I always try to get them before I actually have to have them just in case they are back ordered. Only waited 2 weeks this time.

Sunday I pulled the transfer case outa my truck and replaced the pump with an upgraded one to try and stop the dreaded "Pump rub" (good thing too! she was a rubbin). Then I put it back and installed a tailhousing support bracket between the transmission and transfer case................Thats when I realized that the fluid I coulda swore I had for the transfercase was no where to be found . So yesterday (Monday) I put fluid in it. :)
