innanetmatt 0 Posted December 21, 2016 I pulled my hi-lift off of the spare tire carrier, since my rear door developed a pretty annoying squeak from the weight. A bit of a bummer, as I just bought the mount a week ago and finally got the jack on there Sunday morning.

I strap mine down pretty tight and it doesn't move at all. Been running it this way for years without squeaks or rattles, an issue that very much concerns me. It's also protected from dirt & dust:
Curly 838 Posted December 29, 2016 Finished the bumper and sliders before Christmas, but just getting to pics. Install was fairly easy, but boy do I miss my lift. That concrete floor is cold up here in the Verde. Curly

reybie 65 Posted June 8, 2017 Looks like the thread needs some new activity. I was due for a set of new tires so I watched craigslist for a couple of weeks and ended up with a 5-piece set of wrangler takeoffs (wheels/tires). Ended up with a 1.5 inch increase in height so that's a little plus, just have to remember that my speedometer is off by a couple of mph. It's surprisingly not as loud as I thought it would be compared to my old set of Coopers. Before pic:
