well whomever might have that rig is quite lucky! love everything about it - the color, the flares, the Black Rhino wheels, the HardRock/Anniversary edition hood and bumper - even the dark tint! the only things missing are a few desert pinstripes, but i bet @Ladybug or myself could lead the owner down a few trails to fix that! ;)

Oh indeed I think we can help with some AZ pin striping!  Not a problem if you are running with me!!

smiles, ladybug

I took my Jeep in to see Dr. Joe at On Point Performance for an inspection, diff and transfer case fluid swap a couple of weeks ago. He checked the fluids  before draining them and found they were good to go, no need to swap. That was a first for me, most places would just swap them out to make a buck.  I was impressed to say the least.  They only thing he found was my front drive shaft was in  need of replacement  within the next 1500 miles or so.  He suggested since I am under warranty have the dealership swap it out. All in all he only charged me for the inspection. 🤘

I got a shiny new front drive shaft installed about a week later so I should be set there. 🙂  Thanks @theksmith for recommending him when I was looking for a local mechanic earlier this year for another issue I was having.

Picked up a Jeep Gladiator Mojave in August while out on vacation in southern Utah. Did some basic tinkering this weekend...

Added wheels and tires earlier this month...

Then this weekend added in-bed cargo management rails, Hi-Lift mount and Hi-Lift, hard tonneau cover, and (Rubicon) bed rock rails/sliders...

The rock sliders were a "fun" install. I had to carve up the plastic bumper and remove a corner reinforcement part to make room for the slider bar and its bumper attachment bracket welds. The Rubicon's steal rear bumper apparently does not curve under as much as the plastic variants.

And for those keeping score at home, yes I have a bad habit...

Immediate ToDo's include:

  • Replacing the factory AM/FM antenna with a  AM/FM/CB using the Rugged Ridge mount bracket and signal splitter
  • Running the Ham mag mount antenna wire in the cab for handheld radio; true mobile and hard mount antenna will come later
  • Testing Bed-tent setup with tonneau cover
