  1. I've had the rock in the brakes happen numerous times. If it does it again, try backing up 15-20 feet and it will usually dislodge itself.
  2. Yeah, I was trying to get something going this fall, but didn't have anything to do with this one in post 11. Tony and Dallas set it up and actually sent out notice last week when I was out of town. I'll keep you all posted and get something going on a better weekend with more advance notice.
  3. Sorry this is last minute and super-late notice. I'll see if we can't get another WFA class scheduled in the spring.
  4. Not mine. Someone should buy this so my wife stops begging me to get it for her. http://phoenix.craigslist.org/cph/rvs/1960519122.html
  5. I'll be there with the 4x4 Ham guys. I enjoy working the clean ups. You guys organize them very well. It's amazing what a few hours can do to haul trash out. Too bad it doesn't stay that way.

    Metal Source?

I've gone to BGB Steel. Good service and prices. http://bgbsteel.com/

    whats the diff?

I have the Ruff Stuff diff cover on the front. Awesome! I have a Solid one in the back that I won at a raffle. I think Ruff Stuff gives free shipping or 10% off if you enter coupon code NAXJA also.

    whats the diff?

Ruff Stuff - adding a drain hole is an option. http://www.ruffstuffspecialties.com/catalog/differential-covers-c-5.html?osCsid=bbd6bedc0f42b25fad3dc9b2ebe45b5e
  9. Correct. That's one of the trails in Arches NP. It was on the way back from Tower Arch.

    WK 3" lift

Looks like they are just selling the Rock Krawler kit. http://www.topguncustomz.com/Store/Gen2ProdDisplay.php?iview=188421456 Joe at Absolute Offroad in Phoenix is a dealer for them and also does installs, etc.

    WK 3" lift

I think I'm going to answer my own question. Found this thread. It's for a Commander, but... http://www.jeepcommander.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5715

    WK 3" lift

Does anyone know of a 2-3" lift that is not a budget boost spacers? It would be nice to have a small "spring" replacement lift for the WK. I found this listed on Quatratec, but it has to be wrong with the IFS and struts? http://www.quadratec.com/products/76090_60X_PG.htm
  13. Mention ORP and get a discount. ORP price is $20,000. FYI, everything I own is for sale. (For the right price.)
  14. Must be the economy. I just posted my XJ for sale.
  15. 16. Wisconsin plates on a Prius? That would piss me off too.
  17. Cats have 32 muscles in each ear.
  18. I use a Uniden PC68LTW. As far as physical size, it's big. I have it mounted on the passenger side of the center console and it doesn't seem to kill passenger leg room. As far as performance, it works great. I love the dynamic squelch. For antenna, I use a Wilson 5000 base loaded 64" whip. It's awesome.
  19. Actually done on the trail --> http://www.virtualjeepclub.com/showthread.php?41556-Tire-trail-repair
  20. I know I talked to you and you showed me how you strap the front axle down, but I still don't see any straps on the rear axle. Do you not strap the rear down?
  21. Not yet. I'm trying to see if there is interest before contacting the instructors and setting something up. At this point, it looks like we should be able to easily get a class of 10-15 people. There is enough interest here also, that I'll make sure it isn't scheduled on a date that conflicts with another ORP event.
  22. Gauging interest. Who would be interested in any or all of the following 3 courses? All provided for a minimal cost to what it takes to get the training elsewhere. I've taken Dallas' Wilderness First Aid class twice and the SAR Tech III class. I also attended Scott's Outdoor Survival class. Excellent knowledge in all of them for any 4 wheeler. Here are "trip reports" from the past classes. Survival Class by Scott Kozakiewicz 11-9-08 Search and Rescue Tech III (SAR Tech III) Feb. 14/15, 2009 Wilderness First Aid & CPR Class June 6/7, 2009
