  1. Assuming you are right handed, hold the electrode in your right hand. Make a fist with your left hand and "punch" it against your right hand. Hopefully that makes sense. Using your right hand "rested" on your left fist will help you steady better. Your welds look like you are moving too fast or jumping around a bit.
  2. My experience has been 36v works way better if you can get a 3rd battery. I'm not a pro, but do have experience welding if you wanted me to come over some time.
  3. I had some issues on 4x4Ham.com in September. They got in via some install files that should have been deleted, but were left on the server. I believe it was only a vulnerability in VBulletin 4+ versions.
  4. In all fairness, that retard deserved to have his legs run over.
  5. I have a boat I'll trade you.
  6. George Loves Wheeling Steel
  7. I think that Devil's Highway trip was after the theft incident. Offroad Passport should buy it as a club vehicle.
  8. I've always called it Golf Ball Mountain. I believe that is one of the main radar sites for Sky Harbor.
  9. Yeah, it was stolen. I think it was fall of 2008. About 3 days later, the police saw the thief driving around and he took off when they tried to pull him over. The chase went through a gate for a gated community. He jumped out on foot, leaving the XJ in gear and rolling. The XJ came to a stop in front of that house with two 55 gallon drums of kerosene in the back. The XJ required minor repairs to the roof rack, rear tire carrier, and front bumper. (XJ - 1 vs. House/Theif - 0) It also took quite a bit of cleaning to get the kerosene smell out. Paul has it back in good shape since then. It's a solid rig for anyone looking, so hopefully it's colorful past doesn't hurt it's sale. If your serious also, ask him about the 4x4Ham discount. I've suspected this sale would happen eventually since he was infected with that dreaded Toyota FJ disease a couple years ago.
  10. 110 gallons of kerosene and HOA gates are no match for that XJ. The huge column on that house did slow it down, but in it's defense, it wasn't until the crackhead driving it had already bailed on foot.
  11. Yeah, because when I get hot, I put on a coat. What do I win for finding a typo? I'm not sure we're going to make it this weekend. Stuff happens.
  12. Standard rustoleum spray paint should work fine. I don't think you'd need the high temp stuff.
  13. Evan likes to suck the salsa off the chips and then redip. Marcia and I can help as we don't plan to enter a salsa in the contest.
  14. 4x4 Ham has a VE team. Let us know when and where you want to test. We can come to you.
  15. My guess was Navajo, but looked it up to be called Great Basin Desert. The AZ G&F shows 4. Chihuanuan Desert also. http://www.azgfd.gov/i_e/ee/resources/wild_kids/deserts46.pdf
  16. Honeymoon Trail. Info. http://azstateparks.com/trails/historic/trail_09.html
  17. Rose Mofford. I knew that one without looking it up. There's a Rose Mofford sports complex near I-17 and Dunlap. Our first apartment when we moved to Phoenix was in that area.
