Gnats. I hate gnats. Worst bug bite ever. -
I assume it was via similar methods to this. http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f11/xj-winch-behind-original-bumper-928227/

I motion that both of you are banned from the forum. Ha, it was such a colorful and unique photo that I had a deja vu moment and confirmed it with a little searching. -

I motion that photo 1 be disqualified. It was used in the January voting. http://offroadpassport.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1572 -
I'm far from a pro welder, but have some scrap metal and would be willing to help out.

Alignment/Balance: I recently used Just Brakes at Union Hills/Tatum and was very happy with their service. $40 for the alignment and $10 per tire to balance. My write-up on the JK lift. http://www.4x4ham.com/showthread.php?1745-Daystar-1-3-4-quot-Lift-Kit-Install-on-2011-JK

Sounds like I'm a little late, but I just had the JK alignment done at Just Brakes on Tatum and Union Hills for $39. Best price I found and they gave me a nice printout of the computer alignment. Oh, I gave them crap about the false advertisement as alignment isn't "just brakes".

The Hummer interior is bigger than my house. Don't tell me you can't find a place to install a radio in that 2000 sq. ft. interior.

That has to be a joke. -
If you've done Broken Arrow in Sedona, Box Canyon shouldn't be too much problem for you. The last time I was out there, most the harder obstacles from 3-4 years ago had filled in with sand. There is one good waterfall on Cottonwood Road, but a stock vehicle can navigate it ok.

I use the previous model FT-2800 as a dedicated APRS radio. Nice rig.

12 - 16 inches of full size rail road track

I'd like 3-4 sections 5-6ft. long. My dad bought some once in 20+ft. sections. They were HEAVY. We cut them and used to build cattle guards. -
I don't want a huge bulky rack that stays on there all the time. That's why this one seems appealing. 100lb cargo limit is fine. There are some nice racks out there, but a lot of them have bars that go down to the body, etc. and look hideous.

I'm missing the roof rack that I built for the XJ. I was thinking about buying this Yakima rail and crossbar set for my JK. http://www.quadratec.com/products/92024_2010_07.htm It looks like a pretty good setup for light duty use. 1. Has anyone installed this or seen it used? I'd like to hear what you think of it. 2. How easy are the crossbars to remove? For normal use, I want just the rails in place.

Those posted speeds are fast enough to where you shouldn't be seeing the problems you describe. I know a few guys that work for Cox. I'll send them this thread link.

Correct. John runs Hunter Offroad and hosts a potluck style BBQ, raffle, gathering each December in his parking lot. It's a don't miss it event! Details listed at this link. http://offroadpassport.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1410
