  1. This is what I decided to get, and I'm happy with it.
  2. I will check out the viair inflation gun Dan, I wasn't even aware that they made them. I'm sorry that I didn't reply earlier, but we were off exploring some trails in southern Arizona, and didn't have a signal for a couple of days. Thanks for the info.
  3. I looked online and all the suggested gauges look very nice for what I want. We're back in Mesa, till Monday, so maybe I will be able to find one at sierra expeditions, or somewhere else. I sure haven't had any pencil type gauges that are good quality. Again thanks for the replys.
  4. No, this is a full size tank. Not the little green one. I'll just experiment with it, and hopefully keeping it covered will help. If that doesn't work I'll get a couple of the small ones and try them. Again thanks for the help.
  5. My electronic battery powered tire gauge has gone haywire. I liked it just fine untill the battery started to fail, then the readings were jumping up and down. So I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good mechanical tire gauge? Thanks, Bob
  6. O.K. I'll give that a try. I may cover the tank and valve also to see if that helps too. Thanks for the help.
  7. The info sheet that came with the heater said to keep the tank outside the tent for safety, so that's what I've been doing. But I appreciate the reply.
  8. We have been camping and exploring in Arizona the last 3 weeks, and it has been great except for the rain and cold windy weather. My wife just hates to be cold and since we have been tent camping it has been hard not to get cold lately. So I bought one of the mr buddy propane heaters, and it works very well. But the other morning the temps dropped to about 30 degrees, and the gas at the tank valve froze up I think, I didn't think that would happen. Anyway, I was hoping someone might have a suggestion on how to prevent this from happening again? Thanks for any help you can offer, Bob.
  9. Monique, Tristan and I will be there. We will bring gifts and something for the potluck. See you then.
  10. Nice pictures, It looks like you guys had a great time. I stayed away for jeep week this year. I hate all the crowds. Maybe next year I won't work and stay home for it.
  11. I guess that guy really needed his jeep.
  12. I wish we could have gone on this trip. Instead I was back at work dragging trailers up to North Dakota, in frigid -15 below temps. It looks like a great trip.
  13. These would have the same problem as a roof top tent, if your like me and have to get up in the middle of the night to use the facilities.
  14. That canyon looks incredible Matt! The rock formations look like stalactites. I would like to visit that sometime, you always seem to find the coolest places.
