  1. Here's a good write-up if anyone needs it... http://www.jk-forum.com/forums/jk-write-ups-39/egr-valve-replacement-dtc-p0406-127376/
  2. Good luck on your search: I love those things. If you find one, please share some photos. I'll keep my eyes open.
  3. On my JK, I rotated the tires, changed the oil (and changed it to a 10W30. Much better) changed the air filter and greased the suspension.
  4. Looks sweet! I've always loved the WJs.
  5. I went in 2013 and 2014. I plan on going again this year. Usually I'm there for 4-6 hours on a Saturday. Sometimes I return on Sunday.
  6. I have for sale a 2008 Jeep JK Rubicon. I am the third owner and had it for about 3 years. The original owner was the owner of a now out of business shop in Colorodo that made it for SEMA. This Jeep is gorgeous for a 2008 and has low miles at only ~42,000. I have done a lot of upgrades to this Jeep since owning it to make it a great vehicle for off road use, overlanding, or daily driving. There are no leaks, issues, etc. Here's a quick overview of the Jeep: -3.8L V6 with a 6 speed manual transmission -Stock 4:10 gears front and rear in Dana 44 axles front and rear with electronic lockers -Electronic front swaybar disconnect -PowerAide Throttle Body Spacer -Rugged Ridge Snorkel -3" Teraflex Short Arm Lift with Teraflex shocks (lift recently greased and fitting checked) -Mopar front bumper housing a Warn 9.5ti winch, rear bumper, and rock rails/sliders. -16" ProComp 6005 Rims and 35" Toyo Open Country M/T Tires (Tires replaced less recently) -Kendwood DNX7100 double din headunit with USB, iPod, and Garmin GPS (with offroad maps) -Alpine 1100 Watt Mono Block Sub Amp -Rigid Industries SR-Series 20" LED Light Bar on hood -OR-Fab Tire Can Carrier -Jeep Grab Handles and Trek Armor seat covers -Vector OffRoad MP Table -Gobi Stealth Rack There's much more I haven't listed. It's in great shape and very reliable as well as comfortable. It's been to Vegas a few times and I also just got back from taking it across Colorado this last Labor Day. Title is clean with a lean: however it can be transferred quickly upon purchase. Lien holder is Chase Bank, and I got the loan at a branch ~1 mile from my house. I'm asking $25,500 or best offer. This Jeep is CLEAN and always turns heads wherever it goes. The only reason I'm selling it is because I'm looking to get a WJ Grand Cherokee. Email, call or text are fine. 623-640-8328
  7. Why in the world would somebody do this? It's a shame to see some people do things like this to animals "for fun."
  8. Wow, I was just in the area yesterday and didn't hear about this.
  9. I see this is an old post and I'm third in line, but I'll express my interest in it.
  10. Woa, CBs too!? Good to know, I thought it was just phones.
  11. Thought I'd share some shots I took at the Overland Expo. I'm not pro photographer but I thought I'd share what I have. If anyone else went, please feel free to add your photos as well!
  12. This guy always makes great videos. This one is my favorite though:
  13. The company was called Rubicon Roof Top Tents, but now goes by Tepui. Apparently Jeep has a TM on Rubicon, so the company had to quickly change their name. I'm getting a new ladder from Tepui since the design is pretty much the same: when I asked the guy at the booth at the Overland Expo about the fit he said they made like 5 or so of the Rubicon name ones and was surprised to hear of one still around. Not sure if the 5 made is true or not.
  14. Got a RTT for it. Too tall for the garage so it's not always on.
  15. I haven't been THAT far out with mine yet, but powerline roads and places like the middle of Tonopah have been fine so far. I'll be doing some offroading and camping this weekend while going to the expo, so that'll be a better test.
  16. Rescue dogs quickly become your best friends, I know that well. Great looking dog!
  17. Took off the rear tire and hi-lift. Certainly makes the JK a hair peppier.
  18. I have the same tablet and love it. Runs smooth and fast, easy to hold and use, and very vibrant display for GPS, movies, surfing the forums..etc.
