    the wires come from the rear of the transfer case. the white and red wires went forward and the black went up under the left side rear seat.

    i have a 231 transfer case so it may be different. i went under the jeep and followed the wires . mine was grounded under the rear seat.

    I had that problem on my wj. turned out to be a bad ground.
