  1. You might want to check your link to "SuperDurometer Track Bar Bushings". It tried to send me to my "Cart" which was empty. The part about tire pressure doesn't make sense to me. You should have somewhere around 30psi or so with stock tires, and the larger your tire are, the less pressure they should have..... As an example, I run around 38psi in my 37′ tires. A stock tire gets 30psi, but a 37" tire gets 38 psi, but the larger the tire the less pressure they should have? Overall a very informative article. Thanks for posting.
  2. That's great! Congratulations, and have fun!

  10. What a great answer! I don't know why so many people today can't just say "I don't know, let me find out." Rep points sent!
  11. 3/4 inch square tubing mounted to the loop on the front windshield frame and to the center rollbar. I built it a few years ago for my cb. Here is a link with a few more pictures of the the rack. http://www.virtualjeepclub.com/showthread.php?34124-CB-Overhead-Console
  12. Helps shape the radiation pattern. Sorry, I could have worded that better.
  13. I just finished my FT-2900 install and wanted to share some photos. This setup is picking up really well, and transmitting on low power with full quieting to a local repeater. I have a 1/4 wave larsen antenna mounted above my spare tire with four 1/8" diameter radials to help with the transmit signal. I'm really pleased with how it turned out. Here's the pictures! Nice job! Looks handy.
  15. Went out this last weekend to test out the Rock sliders and they held up great. Video proof.
  16. We have started upgrading my son's 1997 TJ. Spent a few days over the holidays building Rock Sliders and fixing the back end with Corner Guards. We took Poison Spyder corner guards and tied them together with a piece of 3/16" plate. This is because the previous owner used a ton of bondo on the right rear corner, and it cracked due to stress of the tailgate. This is no longer an issue. The tailgate doesn't sag and shuts perfectly now. Before: Ready for paint: The back is complete: Rock sliders: Before Install: After Install: Fenders trimmed and put back on: Another view:
  17. Sending our thoughts and prayers your way. Get well soon George! Diane, hang in there!
