DougNSue are waiting to see if we have family coming up to Prescott from the Valley. If NOT we are planning on coming for some time cooling off in the pines with you! We've never been to Clint's Well, will there be enough room if we want to stay over nigh?

good morning Diane,
Neither of us got much sleep last night and Sue's hip is killing her. Sorry for the late notice but we're not going to make it down today. However, look forward to the next outing.

Hi Mike, or Eugene, I'm not very good at using the portal you folk use, so please bear with me while I learn.
I would have loved to meet you at the Shell station in Flag and follow your groups' tracks for the day. However, I picked up a detail late yesterday for Thursday. And that will not allow me enough time to do a final sort of our camping gear for Friday. We haven't camped in a few years and after doing some research online about car camping we fought ourselves ill-prepared for this trip.
We have heard nothing but good things about the people in your group. We are look forward to meeting new people and learning more about 4-wheeling.
Probably by the next trip, in October, I'll be ready to go.

Hi, Mike,
This is dougnsue, we are new to the group and to 4wheeling. We are friends with Ob1Jeeper & Ladybug w/ RV [steve and Karen]. Have not been to where you are going but would love to join your adventure Friday morning. We live in Prescott, an easy 2 hr drive north. I have a stock 2000 Grand Cherokee, with new Cooper Adventurer A/T tires. Not knowing the route you are taking out of Flag to Mt Elden or to Locklet Meadows, you'll need to determine if my Jeep can handle the route/terrain.
Thanks, Doug

Good morning, Diane, I'm trying to pay for the Cinders weekend using the link in the sentence in the instructions.....Send payment via Paypal to info@offroadpassport.com before 8/31/2018.
Any suggestions as to what I may be doing wrong?

I probably should have included which event to add us to, the trip to the Cinders, 9/14-9/16/2018, Near Flagstaff, AZ

H, everyone, Doug and Sue, we're newbies to the group and 4-wheelin' in general. Please add us to the list of attendees.

Man, that was a great welcoming! Thank you all for the advice/suggestions. I'm glad to see it appears we won't be the only ones with a WJ, as a starting point. We have a leaking front drive shaft bearing leaking that we’ll have repaired this month. My stock tires are 245/70r16. I want a little taller tire that will fit within the stock opening. I don’t want to cut any outside fender. Trimming an inter fender is not as much of a concern. Any suggestions on tire size? I'm looking at Coopers Adventures AT tires right now. I saw they also have a Discoverer AT3 or ATP but haven’t read allot about them yet. Any feedback would be appreciated. I know the best way to learn anything new is to ask questions of those doing it. We have a trailer hitch already and in line to have a 2” lift installed. I have a set of tow hooks for the front I hope to install this month.
I had a left hip replaced May 7 and I’m a little behind my schedule to get back to work. My fault probably, I over did some stuff at only a couple of weeks post op and am paying for it now. But I hope I can get back to work P/T next week.
Thanks again, Doug and Sue

Hi, We're Doug and Sue in Prescott. We are new to 4-wheeling, having bought a stock 2000 Grand Cherokee last Nov. and wanting to start enjoying it off road. Not made any modifications to it yet, not even sure which ones to make first. We know this will limit where we can go but ready to find out.

DougNSue, we came up around noon on Thursday. Checked out several camping areas but didn't see any group of jeeps. I now see I should have been looking for a Dodge Ram P/U. Really nice weather, even coming from Prescott. Almost all the places we looked at were empty. Hope everyone has a safe and relaxing weekend.
