Thanks so much for this post! I was able to successfully install everything yesterday. The only issue I ran into was the alarm arming and disarming every 10 seconds. Turns out instead of using a 100 ohm resistor I grabbed a 100k ohm resistor!
A couple of notes on my install:
I purchased one of those buzzers and put it in the engine compartment. I ran a single wire back into the cab and hooked it to a relay that’s also connected to the easyguard pink horn wire. Works great.
I purchased this easyguard model because it has flip-key fobs: https://www.amazon.com/EASYGUARD-EC002-V-Starter-Password-Keyless/dp/B011HNUUSA/. Then I purchased this additional fob: https://www.amazon.com/Buttons-Folding-Key-Chrysler-Cruiser/dp/B01MU7OKDV/. All I had to do was pull the key blank from that fob and put it in the easyguard fob. Those key blanks are just held in the fobs with a little pin. Got the blank cut by a locksmith before putting it into the easyguard fob and it all works great.
