  1. Any thoughts on the best way to disable the lock/unlock apart from disabling it with the fob? It drives me nuts if I’m in the Garage working on the Jeep with the keys in my pocket…constant locking and unlocking.
  2. Thanks so much for this post! I was able to successfully install everything yesterday. The only issue I ran into was the alarm arming and disarming every 10 seconds. Turns out instead of using a 100 ohm resistor I grabbed a 100k ohm resistor! A couple of notes on my install: I purchased one of those buzzers and put it in the engine compartment. I ran a single wire back into the cab and hooked it to a relay that’s also connected to the easyguard pink horn wire. Works great. I purchased this easyguard model because it has flip-key fobs: https://www.amazon.com/EASYGUARD-EC002-V-Starter-Password-Keyless/dp/B011HNUUSA/. Then I purchased this additional fob: https://www.amazon.com/Buttons-Folding-Key-Chrysler-Cruiser/dp/B01MU7OKDV/. All I had to do was pull the key blank from that fob and put it in the easyguard fob. Those key blanks are just held in the fobs with a little pin. Got the blank cut by a locksmith before putting it into the easyguard fob and it all works great.
