  1. What's up everyone, I joined a while ago, and have really not been active at all as work and 3 teenagers have basically ruled my life for the last year. But I have not been sleeping at the wheel. When I joined I had a pretty sick Jeep Wrangler setup. Since then I kind of went overboard and built a wild Rig. I wanted to share the build with you all, and become active again, as I am finally ready to be actually involved. 2. Would be happy to help. I was going to see if there was any interest maybe we will sponsor ORP and offer a discount code.
  3. Hello everyone, I wanted to put together a little build log for my 2021 RAM TRX affectionately known as UNIT. We purchased the truck earlier this year used, with around 29,000 miles on it. Unit is replacing a 2006 Jeep Wrangler that we had that we gave to our youngest son. (Images of Jeep Attached for science). When we purchased the TRX it came with a 1.5 inch leveling kit, Method MR304 Wheels and some 37in Nittos on it. One unfortunate issue with this truck, is that most aftermarket support is for the Baja or rally space and not so much the crawling/touring side, however I have been able to slowly find suppliers for most that I am looking for. My goals for the truck is to convert it completely into an overland unit. We are focusing on long distance, long duration touring and camping. The 2006 Wrangler had a full REDARC secondary battery system in it. Which I moved over to the RAM. Currently the additional 12v systems consists of the following: Redarc Super B Lithium Iron Battery 150AH x2 Redarc Manager 30 Redarc TVMS Rogue Redarc Redvision Display Redarc 120Watt Solar Planel Redarc 180Watt deploayble Solar Panel Redarc 2000Watt Invertor Installed on the truck and part of the overall comfort system we also have Dometic CFX75 Starlink Flat High Performance I have added a Prinsu Rack and Prinsu Camp lights as well There is a lot more instore for this build, I will update this thread as progress is made.
  4. Thanks! Oh thats awesome! We will have to get togther!
  5. I am a new member, I am not sure if this precludes me from this event yet, but I am assuming someone will let me know if I cannot go ;) I do see that there are no open slots, but hopefully can be added to the standby list. Wanted to do this since I heard it re-opened!
  6. Greetings all! Chris & Erin here (mostly Chris) we live in Northern Az just outside of Sedona, and have been in the area since 1999. We have always had Jeeps and various off road vehicles that we always threw around the trails in Sedona and surrounding areas. As we have gotten slightly older we have refined our taste, and goals, and at this point we are fully invested in the overland touring life style. Erin is a Medicare and Medicaid insurance agent, and I own a online cigar company called Luxury Cigar Club. Our sons both have Jeep Wranglers of various finish and capabilities. We have a 2021 RAM TRX which we have begun building for long haul overland touring. Our goal of joining here is to meet others that are interested in adventures, and of course to get stuck into the wilderness as much as possible. Looking forward to meeting you all. Might post a build log of the rig aka UNIT if you all are interested!
