  1. That sounds rough, Phil. A neighbor of ours went through almost the same thing after a cabin stay, woke up covered in bites and ended up dealing with bed bugs for weeks. They tried a few things on their own, but it didn’t really help until they called https://heatsolution.ca/. The heat treatment finally got rid of them. It’s crazy how some places just brush it off like it’s no big deal. Makes you wonder how many guests go through the same without speaking up.
  2. A welding or fabrication shop is your best bet. Most radiator shops don’t handle custom work like that anymore. Look for a local fab shop that does aluminum or steel welding (depending on your pan). You could also check with off-road or performance shops they often do sensor bung installs. In the Mesa area, try shops like RPM Fab or AZ WELD & FAB they’re known for doing small custom jobs. Just call ahead to make sure they handle oil pans.
  3. Sorry to hear that. Ken sounded like a great guy and part of some amazing memories. Wishing peace and comfort to everyone who knew him.
  4. I’ve got the ICECO JP30 and it’s been solid super efficient and quiet. Your setup idea sounds doable. The JP30 draws around 45W when the compressor’s running, but it cycles on and off, so it doesn’t run constantly. A Jackery 300 should get you through the night if the fridge is already cold. Just make sure your Jeep charges the power station while driving solar helps too if you’re parked for a while.
