My Expedition XJ

After a two month confinement at George's Garage and Auto Boutique, scottL's XJ was ready for a shakedown run. We took it out to the rolls area by Saguaro lake where we could flex it out to see if anything rubs. After installing new G2 dana 44 axles and 35" tires, only a tiny bit of fender trimming is needed! Looking good Blue!

Took the new-to-us TJ out for a little flex therapy today. Thanks for joining us @theksmith  & @scottL , good times.
 

October 12 - 15, 2019 Rocktoberfest is an annual event held in Kingman, AZ dedicated to running challenging trails. George and I attended days 1 - 3.
The first day we ran Pig Iron trail. To those familiar with Kingman trails, it is near Serentipity trail. There are some pretty tricky obstacles on this trail, namely the waterfall and Jeep Trap.

On the second day at Rocktoberfest, we ran Barney's Revenge. If you are familiar with Kingman trails; we aired down at the Black Bridge, and ended up coming out on pavement up in Lazy Y U Ranch in the Wallapai Mountains. It was a long way to the trail, and the trail was long! It took our large group all day long!

Beautiful day in the desert exploring and checking out old mining stuff. Good times!

Best way to start the new year/decade! Out on a scenic trail with friends in the Arizona sunshine! Soaking it up!
