  1. Had my knuckles rotated and my spring pads flattened out on my front axle. Added 4.5" IRO springs and Bilstein shocks, 5100s on the front and 5125s on the rear.
  2. Well my WJ is at East Coast getting some front work done. They are rotating the knuckles, putting new coil buckets on it after the pinion and caster are corrected and doing a little trussing to it. Hoping it reduces my front spring bowing as well as getting rid of some of my front end wander. Should also clean up that last little bit of driveline vibe I have. My coil buckets wwere starting to rust so it seemed like a good thing to do. Will try to get some pics if I can slip over there while the axle is out of it and on the bench.

  4. Well I went and made a big hole in my jeep. God it is empty, any chance of changing my mind? Left over parts Followed WJCHRIS' thread so not going to redo the build instructions Here is the porn, look at that pretty diff What do you all think, my axle was hitting the tank after I stretched the wheelbase a little so I had to do it.

  6. So it decided to add a receiver to my ARB front bumper
  7. make sure that the power line easement you are riding is legal, most of them are not legal and you are trespassing. Nice Libby, my wife has one but we never offroad it. Does well in snow though.
  8. our club has long supported uwharrie, usually get a few people out every month for the monthky work day and usually take a big crew out a couple times a year especially during the closed winter season when they do major trail work. Hoping we can keep it open, efforts failed at telico and they caved to the liberals and closed it. Today was an average small group work day for us.
  9. Did a little trail clean up at Uwharrie today for the monthly work day. Picture of the crew and some shots on the poser rock.
  10. sounds like you might have a blocked water jacket in the engine somewhere that is causing reduced flow and overheating???
  11. can you say SAS :-) my wife has a red one, 2006 that is going to be my daily driver when we get her something new.
  12. you do not want to cut any of that off unless absolutely neccessay as it is a unibody and all of that material is there for a purpose. A wrong cut could significantly weaken the structural integrity.
  13. Anyone do anything in the Southeast? Would love to see an organized trek or two in our area.
