Click here for the full thread... ---------------------------- Meet up New River Rd and Carefree Highway (West of the I-17) Time: 9:00am Simplex: 147.520 Repeater: Shaw Butte 147.24 + offset pl 162.2 Most obstacles may be bypassed. Lockers are recommended for some obstacles. I ran this trail recently and it has thankfully gotten worse in some areas compared to last year. This is one of the few trails in AZ that offers challenges for both the seasoned off roader and those who are eager to learn. All are welcome. Hope to see you there. Click here for the full thread... ---------------------------- Gas Pipeline run on Friday the 18th Anyone interested in going? If so KF7OQZ (Harry Harry) & KG7DJR (Steve) will be meeting at Rock Springs Café for Breakfast at 8am… If you plan on having Breakfast with us please let me know so I can reserve a place for us and I will know how many will be attending the run… After breakfast we will then hit the trail starting at Mile Post 242 between 9 & 9:30 am after airing down and disconnecting if you so choose to… There is a culvert with a sharp drop at the end. I have seen several vehicles negotiate this culvert, This run is open to all 4X4 vehicles, just be aware that some vehicles will bottom out when exiting this culvert. We hope to be done before 2pm depending on how many go and how long we play on the hills… Below is a link to the Culvert we cross through... It show the drop off... Hope the link works...
