Join us on a short moderate rated night run on a portion of the Hieroglyphic Mountain Loop in the Boulders OHV area. We'll eventually connect to Morgan City Wash for a bit, then exit onto the paved part of Castle Hot Springs road near Lake Pleasant & Hwy 74. Should be a 3 to 4 hour run depending on group size. This trail is probably OK for newbies as long as you are comfortable with some steep climbs and descents in the dark! Family friendly and no drinking and driving! General requirements: A high clearance, street legal, 4x4 with low range t-case option. Skid plates on anything important. No low hanging side steps, front air-dams, etc. For example, most stock 4wd Wranglers, Broncos, and Tacomas are likely good but other rigs may need a small lift. Click here for Details & to RSVP... We ran Four Peaks Trail (FR 143) outside Phoenix, AZ this week. It’s one of those trails we’ve done more than a few times, and I think because of that, we forgot just how beautiful it really is. As soon as you climb up towards the saddle, temps drop, and the views open up. We could tell it was finally spring in the desert because the cacti are in full bloom! With the weather finally cooling down a bit, it’s the perfect time to get out there. We were also reminded how many trailheads and hiking spots are tucked along the route. If you're in the Phoenix area and it's been a while since you’ve run Four Peaks… or you're planning a trip to off-road in Arizona, add Four Peaks Trail to your list! It’s even better than we remembered!-
