Also:

-4 wheel parts is running a smoking deal on the Smittybilt XRC 3.0 for only $99.99 plus free shipping, should be here tomorrow.

-Ordered the Warn winch mount through Amazon, should be here Friday.

-Installed the gun case mount last week.

-Installed new locks that are keyed the same on the storage box tonight, plus removed the mounting straps. Going to hard mount it to the rear rack tomorrow, I don't want it walking away. Seriously, why have locks on something that mounts with straps that any pocket knife can cut.

-Got a smoking deal on couple of brand new high end covers that Cabela's sells, so now everything will be protected from the elements when she is not in use.

-Jonathan (Hulkster) and I are going take the upper rack from the trailer and shift it to the rear, that way the weight is over the axle more and away from the tongue (especially for the times that the 35 gallon water tank is being used). Plus with the shift the entire deck will be under the cage and wind break, so all I need to do is throw a tarp over it to make a nice shelter.

More progress, been a good week :)

-Got the storage box remounted, but had to rebuild the gun case mount to clear it.

-Painted the rock cage for the light bar, hope to have it mounted and wired in before we go scouting Sunday.

-Rewired and converted the trailer to 4 flat connection, so now I can run legally at night. lol

-Winch got delivered and the mount should be here tomorrow :)

Hey D, looking good.

Do you have a welder? If you want to tack your rock shield closed, I have a little 110 that you could borrow. Wire fed w/o gas to it is easy to throw in the Dodge. Plus you could use it on some of your trailer stuff, although you may want a 220 for most of the trailer stuff. Just call me before you swing by. Poor little guy is just collecting dust right now, I am sure he would be happy to do some work for you!

I have a Lincoln in the garage that is going to see some use next week on the trailer, when Jonathan and I move the rack and now possibly lift it 4 inches. :) Thanks for the offer though. Decided not to weld the rock cage so I can take it on and off without having to use a grinder, works out pretty good mounted. Got the light bar mounted and wired tonight actually, plus mounted the winch mount. Have a midterm due tomorrow, so wasn't able to get the winch mounted and wired.

You are raising the top 4 inches? Why raising it? Are you worried about COG on the trailer if you throw gear up there?
