tucsonWJ 1 Posted October 14, 2015 Hey Scott, tried to find your fox build thread with no luck. How's yours doing? You Kinda inspired me!!
scottL 185 Posted October 14, 2015 That's awesome Ryan, glad to hear it. She's running crispy right now and cruising weather is just around the corner. Not many other Ford fans on this forum but that hasn't stopped me! Laziness is actually the killer. Now you're inspiring me to get back into finishing it http://offroadpassport.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3002
tucsonWJ 1 Posted October 15, 2015 I'm just finishing some minor body work. I have a buddy that does a lot of plastikoting so we are going to do it white with as much pearl as I can get on it. Got the new gears (3.73) with the ford racing carbon LSD and 31 spline 5 lugs ready to go in. Interior pulled and ready for the cage to go in. I'm doing a color change from red to black on the interior so I have been painting a lot. Just a fun project!!
scottL 185 Posted October 15, 2015 Nice. I put 3.55's in mine, bought it with 3.27's in it. I've got the 5 lug conversion too w/ just a rebuilt trac loc & 31 spline Yukon hardened shafts. My car came originally with red interior too! Now it's gray/black. Currently I am working on a 3 link "long arm" set up for my rear suspension, good stuff. I agree they are fun projects, relatively easy to work on with huge amounts of aftermarket product support and can be made to go very fast in a straight line or through corners if set up correctly. tucsonWJ 1 Posted October 15, 2015 Meant 3.73 gears. A buddy got an 8.8 with everything in it when he bought another project and wasnt going to use it so I picked up the whole carrier with everything in it for cheap.
