ChubbyUnicornAZ 31 Posted January 3, 2024 I've been an avid off-roader and Jeep enthusiast since I was a kid. My dad was the plant manager of the Bramalea Jeep Plant in Canada before it shut down in 1992 so I spent a lot of my youth going there and being part of every stage of assembly of Wranglers. I've owned 12 Wranglers to date. I seem to have as much fun building them as I do wheeling them. My last Jeep was a 2013 JKU, "Rhino", that had a custom coil-over I built on 1 tons with 40" tires. There wasn't much left stock on that Jeep when I finished it. I did all the work in my garage and built all my own bracketry with a CNC plasma table. I sold it a few years ago and have been out of a Jeep since. I had been waiting patiently for exactly what I wanted and that became a reality in December 2023 when I picked up a 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport EcoDiesel "Black Rhino". The blend of two of my favorite things, Jeeps and Diesels and continuing my obsession with Rhinoceros. lol. I did promise the wife that this build wouldn't be as crazy as a lot of our previous builds. I want this to not only be incredibly capable but also I want everything to look as though it came from the factory. In the less than 30 days since owning it I've gotten quite the jump on all it's modifications with still a ways to go before I'm ready to take it off road. Need to protect all the crazy expensive emissions equipment from damage. I was one of the original AZVJC members back in 1998 and led runs almost every weekend around Arizona. My family loves the Jeeps as well and is very excited to get back on some trails. We look forward to meeting members here. Here it was December 14th, the day I brought it home. Here it is as of this past weekend and so much more on the way. I'll be doing the lift later this month after we get back from vacation.
