I'am taking the family camping this weekend and I need some new ideas for meals. The same old stuff is getting boring. Whats your favorite camping recipes.

Oh, haha, I didn't realize it was in the same forum and so close nearby. I thought it was in general topics, and I knew it was fairly old, so I did a search for it. No worries. But hey, if you like spaghettios, try my recipe! It rocks! d

 

P.S. whatever you do, don't get spaghettios with meatballs, there was a recall for those recently. Bon Appatit!

i also like mixing up some lean ground meat, instant potatoes, whole kernel corn and instant Chicken gravy.

Instant potatos, I forgot about those. I could do something with that. I get canned sliced potatos and cook then in bacon fat..... YUM.

Anyone ever eat crawfish? I hear they are good. I'll be camping around west clear creek on the rim and I going to try to boil up a few.

Yep. I used to go up to Willow Springs lake, dip a basket with some chicken fat, wait about 15 min and pull them up. George:cool:
