Mickey Thompson, Baja Boss A/T

275/60R20 Diameter 33.4” x Width 10.8” x Sidewall 6.7”. Weight 47 lbs.

On stock 20" wheels. Fits like hand in glove. No mods, no offset. Good balance between on & off road.

a quality set of A/T or M/T tires is probably the single biggest bang-for-buck upgrade available to improve a vehicle's off-road performance - and the Baja Boss are great tires.

 

if you plan to do trails any more difficult than Four Peaks, you'll want to consider removing low-hanging items like the mud flaps, running boards, and the front lower air dam.

 

do you know if your Land Cruiser came with any factory skid-plates?

It came with a black metal front skid plate and a plastic transfer case cover. Looking to replace it with the aluminum TRD Pro front, transfer case, and rear differential skid plate.

Outstanding choice, we've started with the MTZ's awesome traction on/off road, after 35k still better than 50% tread left...but painfully loud on pavement. Switched to the ATZ's now we don't have to yell at each other over 20mph, proved themselves highly capable in the snow this past winter (3'+ and never thought about chaining up). Playing in the spring muck hasn't been an issue. Note, we're in the northern Rockies of Montana so the word snow is relevant. Parked the truck for a month, Jeep's love snow!

Nice! Great tires and they look amazing on the 250. I am totally with you, not sure what Toyota was thinking when they chose to offer the Cruiser with those tires from the factory. As has been the case with all Land Cruiser that have come before. 🤷‍♂️
