theksmith 5,778 Posted July 31, 2015 FYI - it appears that Whynter makes almost the exact same fridge as the Edgestar. the Whynters are available through homedepot.com with free ship-to-store: http://www.homedepot.com/p/Whynter-45-qt-Portable-Fridge-Freezer-FM-45G/202555696 they are priced at $431, or just below the Edgestar which is currently $459 with free shipping. their 65 qt model is running around $30 cheaper than Edgestar's. not sure how the warranty compares, but just another option to look into if you want a cheap fridge/freezer. EDIT - Edgestar Warranty: 1 year parts; 90 days labor.
