In-A-Rut 3 Posted November 25, 2009 Nice! We have some munchies as well. Here is a fun note - I made a second batch of noodles tonight. I went into the kitchen to make dinner to find all my noodles gone. I don't know which dog at them, but I hope they were good!

I don't know if they have it at the Chevron, better get it before just to be safe. As for the camping oven: it's smaller than I remembered. I bought some foil pans to make green bean cassarole in, and checked to be sure they'd fit, just barely. The pans I bought are 9.5 X 11.75, and I'll have to crimp the sides down to get the lid on the oven. The oven isn't a conventional oven with a tempurature setting. It's pretty much a propane grill thing with a lid. We'll only be able to fit 1 thing at a time in it. I realized that we could also set dishes in our engine bays when we get there to begin the warming process, that, and we could start a fire in a grill and set some pans on it. Thoughts? Everyone have a great Thanksgiving and a safe trip ...... Thank you sir, and Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family! d

dzJeepChic 2,897 Posted November 26, 2009 Man the Dodge is packed! I talked to the Ruts, they're going to try to throw in some wood too, so we should be okay. We'll get all these sides cooked up no problem, lots of stoves and grills going to be there. See everyone at 9:00! d
