dzJeepChic 2,897 Posted February 18, 2010 The weather is forcast to be cold with a little rain Saturday morning. I'm packing mostly warm layers, coats and cold camping gear. We have to bring whatever firewood we need, so hopefully between us we can have fires at night. Not sure yet how much we're going to be able to squeeze in. It has the last gas station before the park entrance, a mini-market, a cafe, and the George Patton Museum. If you leave PHX @ 9:30 am MST, you should arrive at Chiriaco Summit at noon PST. It has the last gas station before the park entrance, a mini-market, a cafe, and the George Patton Museum. That sounds like a great suggestion. I took a look at a map and that is very close to the park entrance. That could be a great place to pull the group together. But I'll leave it up to our leaders. I'm just along for the ride! At the very minimum I'll need to top off my gas tank there. My TJ gets horrible MPG! See everyone tomorrow morning at Miller Rd & the I-10. And one last thing, do we want to set a CB Channel?
