LO PHAT 1 Posted January 13, 2014 Just something to think about for down the road... An 8.8 is a great upgrade, especially compared to a Dana 35. You'll quickly find, however, that the differential housing is a massive anchor in the rocks. Depending on the types of trails you intend to run, you may want to plan on upgrading to 35" tires shortly after installing the 8.8 in your Jeep. The larger tires will be a better match with the 4.88 gears too. SCOT68 wheels with an 8.8 and 33" tires. He can tell you all about it. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
