The Annual Cinders Run

August 28 - 30, 2009

Friday -
Any volunteers to lead a trail on the way up?

Saturday
- A
day at the Cinders. We ran out of time

last year, so this year we can stay all day and
possibly explore

the areas surrounding the bowls if
there is an interest.

Sunday
Trails (TB Discussed at camp):

Sedona Trails with JKGoose

There is also talk of exploring the area north of the
cinders.

Camping Fee: $20 Per Person*
for the whole
weekend (Kids Free)

*based on 25 people attending
. If there's money left
over we'll

buy charcoal & ice with it again. If there's
not enough to cover

the campground cost, we'll
increase the price accordingly.

O'Leary Group Site
is located approximately 13
miles north of

Flagstaff, Arizona near Sunset
Crater National Monument.

Friday and Saturday Nights will be
Potluck BBQ
dinners. Bring

something to grill and a dish to
share. (Saturday we will
probably have plenty of
leftovers from Friday).

Saturday Night Salsa Contest - bring your

homemade salsa and enter to WIN A PRIZE!

Saturday Night $0.25 Raffle for GREAT Prizes!

Saturday Night: Enter the Fuzzy Bunny Contest to WIN A PRIZE!

(or simply attend for some GREAT PHOTO-OPS!)

Thank you for the invite! We had such a great time with you last year, that myself and several friends will be attending again this year.

Looking forward to seeing everyone again, as well as the salsa contest!

I made another practice batch of salsa the other day. This time I doubled it so it would last more than 1 evening (George). Now it's had time to sit in the refrigerator, and I've discovered that it's better tasting and a bit more spicy when give the chance to marinate.

I'm here to tell you that Phil is gonna get a run for his money on this one.

d :D

So excited for this weekend! What time are you departing? Are you thinking unload/set up camp and then a short run? I am installing some rocks lights in case we do a early evening run.
