Ladybug 699 Posted December 8, 2010 Sweet! It's like a bigger teardrop trailer! I like it! Good job! smiles, ladybug
fangars 1 Posted December 8, 2010 I have been thinking of doing this but with a smaller trailer. Upgrading the suspension is going to be one of my mods should I go this route instead of finding a military trailer. Keeping my eye out for a teardrop that I could modify as well, but those are hard to find withing my budget constraints. EDIT: I spoke too soon, even so I just can not jump on this just yet, but if anyone here can here is the link. Partially finished teardrop. Exactly what I thought when I saw the ad earlier this week.
fangars 1 Posted December 8, 2010 I would build my own frame, beef up the suspension and add an exoskeleton on the outside, cage it in with built in rack storage on top. Most likely I will be building something from the ground up, buying components as I go. My finances of late are not allowing me to make any large purchases. All my money has to go right back into my business. Perhaps I can expand my business to trailers, that would be a great excuse to building my own rig.
