Trailride Trail to the Quartz Hills, where there are some nice places to set up tables and a BBQ. There is an optional hike to the top of a hill where there's an old Quartz Mine. The area is hugely scenic. The trail is easy to moderate, stock Jeep friendly, with a few challenges: a rocky portion up a shelf (nothing scary) and some careful tire placement on decomposed granite where articulation matters (a little pucker-factor here!). Spotting provided when needed! Part of the trail criss-crosses a stream that may or may not be flowing, again, nothing scary or dangerous. Here are some more pictures taken from the trail we'll be doing.
