A7XJ 1 Posted January 11, 2014 I have a hand held one that you can borrow if I go, but be warned that the range is limited compared to a mobile cb. That'll be awesome, thank you. A cb is on the list of things I need.
Number7 89 Posted January 11, 2014 If you want to be off the trail by dark, we either need to start earlier in the morning or postpone this run until the longer daylight hours of summer. The meet up time posted will allow us 10hrs and 25mins to run this trail in day light. That is doable providing no one breaks down and we clip right along. This is a quest not a pleasure cruise! I will be cracking the whip on this run. George

aribelin 0 Posted January 11, 2014 I didn't make the end last time I ran Mud Springs, nor did the other VJC group that tried a week before I went (they were airing up in the dark IIRC). Tough trail, and I certainly second the thought that it is nice to be back to the highway after this trail. It is funny that I have the same out-of-town meeting on the 25th that I had the last time a group went.
