dzJeepChic 1,969 Posted October 28, 2021 Since Rocktoberfest George has been rocking out the doors. Not Van Morrison, but he has been painting and hanging interior doors. We went with flat doors with no design stamp, flat, non wavy door trim, and plain hardware, to carry the simplistic theme. They came out awesome! Double doors into den/office and pantry door Bedroom and bathroom doors at end of hallway On a side note, we found these plants growing in our neighborhood that we thought might be some kind of wild chili pepper or some such. As it turns out, these 'chili peppers ' produce Cat Claws, AKA Devil's Claws. I've seen these in Tucson, on the Rug Road, and on the Devil's Hwy. Now I know where they come from!

dzJeepChic 1,969 Posted January 9 I was afraid that this might not look right, but we went ahead and took a chance and painted the inside of the front door orange, too. It actually looks awesome. My office got an upgrade The sunset from the back patio the other night
Trail Toy 1,068 Posted January 9 (edited) Your sunset reminds me of the sunrise yesterday morning as the family and I were driving to Sierra Vista. Edited January 9 by Trail Toy

dzJeepChic 1,969 Posted May 26 Wow, it's been a really long time since I've posted! George has been busy for a while getting the garages finished and [semi]organized. When we moved here we basically just stacked stuff against the walls, so first we had to move everything away from the walls so he could sand, caulk, prime and paint etc. Then he reinstalled his shelving from the old house. It's getting organized; at least it's off the floor and we know what general vicinity most things are.
dzJeepChic 1,969 Posted July 21 It's been a long time since I posted here, so let me get you caught up. George finished the garage apartment towards the end of June. I think it came out great. He has spent a lot of time since then prepping the house for paint. Lots of scraping, brooming, washing, etc. He finally started painting the trim earlier this week and started the walls today. I love this color!
