This is absolutely true. The Kingman area stays 15-20 degrees cooler in the summer, and snows sometimes in the winter. Its a much more temperate area, so you won't get as heat blasted as we are, fortunately. My employers liked the difference so much that they actually live in Kingman and make the commute down daily. Can't say I blame them, haha

For sure! When we were trying to figure out where we were going to build or buy we went from Bullhead to Kingman one afternoon, and the temperature was SO MUCH COOLER that we made up our minds right then. :)

You know, it's never to late to redesign your interior design plans...just saying 😉

Since Rocktoberfest George has been rocking out the doors. Not Van Morrison, but he has been painting and hanging interior doors. 🤣 We went with flat doors with no design stamp, flat, non wavy door trim, and plain hardware, to carry the simplistic theme. They came out awesome!

On a side note, we found these plants growing in our neighborhood that we thought might be some kind of wild chili pepper or some such. As it turns out, these 'chili peppers ' produce Cat Claws, AKA Devil's Claws. I've seen these in Tucson, on the Rug Road, and on the Devil's Hwy. Now I know where they come from! 😌

I was afraid that this might not look right, but we went ahead and took a chance and painted the inside of the front door orange, too. It actually looks awesome.

Wow, it's been a really long time since I've posted! George has been busy for a while getting the garages finished and [semi]organized.

When we moved here we basically just stacked stuff against the walls, so first we had to move everything away from the walls so he could sand, caulk, prime and paint etc. Then he reinstalled his shelving from the old house. It's getting organized; at least it's off the floor and we know what general vicinity most things are. :D
