tsconver 0 Posted September 8, 2009 Well I decided to paint my cladding black to match the ARB bumper. Also a couple of shots of my back seat mod allowing me to remove the seat bottoms for a little extra room, saw this on another forum and thought it was a great idea and did it to mine. tsconver 0 Posted September 8, 2009 Some seat pictures, I do not have any of the bags on the back as they use up the rear seat space, I put some on it when I wheel though.
theksmith 5,778 Posted September 8, 2009 didn't you have a hack-n-tap SYE before... why the upgrade to a "real" one? oh, and glad you made it over to here!
dzJeepChic 2,897 Posted September 8, 2009 Wow, that's a really nice rig you've got! I like it that you do your own work and pay a lot of attention to details. Welcome to the forum! Diane
tsconver 0 Posted September 8, 2009 didn't you have a hack-n-tap SYE before... why the upgrade to a "real" one? oh, and glad you made it over to here! was trying to track down a vibration, and everyone said it was my driveshaft or the hack in tap. So I did the real SYE, still have the vibe, I think it is a rear axle bearing, not sure what else it could be, they are cheap so I am going to replace them and then everything from the TC output to the rear end will be fresh. GRUNT 111 Posted September 9, 2009 I like the LEDs, far better than regular lights(being water proof and resist vibration. I too have the modular seat covers. I love how I can carry what I want and have it handy! Nice ride.
tsconver 0 Posted November 29, 2009 finally added some in bumper lights and removed the ones under the bumper that were all cracked from rocks
tsconver 0 Posted December 12, 2009 Just installed this on the front diff upper CA joint http://www.currieenterprises.com/cestore/product.aspx?id=2889 Had to enlarge the slots in the IRO long arm camber adjust but that was pretty easy to do with a file and die grinder. Had to pull the tire and droop it fully to get the spring out. Used a air hammer to remove the old rubber bushing, took about 10 minutes with the air hammer then pounded the new johnny in with their driver tool and a 3 lb hammer. Here are installed pics
theksmith 5,778 Posted December 13, 2009 sweet, LSRGreg did that to his as well. when my bushings wear out, i'll have to look into it. have you had a chance to run up any same ramping place now that you had before to see how it affects the overall flex?
