Looks like it was fun!

Mike(gearhead,) what are you using to record the elevation change?

Here is a link that you might find interesting.

http://www.aprs.fi

Over in the right upper corner, you will see a text input box. Enter KC9PKI-9 and select 24 hours as a search limit. You will see green tracks and pink points that sort of outline the track. One of the tracks is from Saturday the 8th and the other is from Sunday the 9th.

Clicking on a point will bring up a box with more information than you need, but fun anyway.

Hi Grunt,

My GPS records the lat, long, date, time, distance, and elevation. When I get home I download the GPS track log onto my computer and then use Mapsource to plot the elevation profile. It is just something I think is interesting. :)

You can also reference your tracks from the 'Where Are We Now' page here on ORP. We've already entered the info for you, so just click on Macinyart's icon to go to his APRS page.

This really was a lot of fun! Great folks, eats and laughs!! Sorry we didn't find any color, maybe next time. Or maybe Russ did and he's just not talkin' hahaha. ;)

I liked the trail too, the granite, washouts, and hills made for a nice adventure...I'll get some pics up soon.
