In-A-Rut 3 Posted September 9, 2012 Pulled the engine yesterday and mounted it on the engine stand. took about an hour to clean the crap off just enough to see the block. Started dismantling and more cleaning. See pic of leaking core plug. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

In-A-Rut 3 Posted August 22, 2013 Ok it is time for an update. After installing all new gaskets and putting the engine back in found the rear main was still leaking. pulled oil pan and found part of a piston ring. so decided to just do an in frame over haul. engine now runs good. Installed aluminum diamond plating on rockers. Decided a few months ago to install a lift. after messing around with doing a cheap lift.... Installed Rubicon Express 4.5" super flex lift. Whiled do lift i swap out the rusty rear axle with a nicer one. Removed t-case and installed sye and resealed case. Below are pics of diamond plating and lift. Getting 32" bfg on 15" steel rims this weekend. If no other problems occur it should be back on the road again (hav not driven it since March) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

If you're ever looking for spare body moldings, plastic bumper caps or even a stock rear bumper, i still have most all of what i took off mine laying around in the garage.
