scottL 185 Posted August 13, 2010 with a little fender trimming (& portal axles) it IS possible to run 52's on your XJ:
Number7 89 Posted August 14, 2010 I don't think that XJ would do good on the ramp. It's strictly a mudder. George:cool:
scottL 185 Posted August 14, 2010 it was in jp magazine: "With what appears to be the big Unimog portal axles, 52-inch Michelin XL tires, and an otherwise stockish, but obviously well-used Jeep on top of it, we were really curious about the build. It's not easy to get those heavy drivetrain parts to stay under a unibody XJ. We never did catch up with the owner of this Jeep: after walking through the obstacle course like it was a mall speed bump, the Jeep and owner disappeared." http://www.jpmagazine.com/eventcoverage/154_0903_13th_annual_all_breeds_jeep_show/photo_22.html
dzJeepChic 2,897 Posted August 19, 2010 While Nirvana performed "Lithium" at the 1992 MTV awards show, bassist Novoselic tossed his bass in the air. It came down and hit him on the head, temporarily knocking him out. Kurt Cobain apparently missed the accident and screamed at him for being off beat. Looks like it was planned to me: (he tosses it near 4:20)

theksmith 5,778 Posted August 26, 2010 warning, the following is mildly disturbing... Background: Bed Bug infestation is currently on the rise in the US, in NYC it's an epidemic... The Factoid of the day is that model/actress/activist Isabella Rossellini wrote, produced and acted out a mini-movie regarding bed bug procreation, and it may well be the strangest thing you see this month: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MakIB_IJnu0
