Thank you for leading the ride @gearhead! it was a beautiful day making new friends and seeing old friends. The Z Girls had a great time too. @Mick Bowers, thank you for sharing your lunch with Zoey! 😆 We weren’t able to reach the mine due to trail damage from a really bad wash out. It was unsafe for us to pass. Unfortunately, I forgot to take photo of that. There were some fun twisty tight spots going in and out of washes and made the ride fun but still easy if you had a less modified vehicle. Some sightings of pretty desert wildflowers and the creosote bushes are very green from recent rain storms. Here are a few photos from the points of interests we stopped at. I regret a little not bringing the drone. But I still loved seeing it in person and pondered the amazing fact that this could have easily been damaged without protection due to its obscurity.

That is kind of what we may plan to do. All depending on how I end up feeling. 😮‍💨

Unfortunately, I am still under the weather from a sinus infection, so we won't be able to attend. We will try again next year. 😷🤒 However, if I suddenly feel better, we will try to come up tomorrow evening.

Paid! We are finally able to make it this year! Us and the Z Girls in Roof Top Tent on Honey Badger. 🤩

A few snaps from my phone. We did not do much filming so we can focus on the relaxing weekend, hanging out with folks. It was a good call. Day 1 camp. It was a beautiful spot. Perfect for our group size and very quiet except for the siren that went on in the middle of the night. It could have been an emergency vehicle from the near by homesteads. Day two hike to the Sycamore Falls. No water at the falls, but the lush greenery surrounding the falls makes up for a nice view. What an amazing view at Sycamore Point. Our pups and us got eaten up by the no-see-ums though. 😫 Day two camp, another wonderful spot. There are some fun areas close to camp to explore. Day 3 air down in Jerome. @Scott Foust and us took the back way home through Skill Valley. Finally got a chance to visit this majestic cottonwood tree there.

The Davis Adventure family is signed up. It will be Jeremy, me, Zyra and Zoey. Camping in our roof top tent.

I quickly put together a short video of some highlights from our drone's perspective plus a few handheld camera moments. This was such an EPIC trip that we will talk about for years to come. I plan to do a full trip report video down the road, whenever work finally eases up. Hope you enjoy this short video. Always amazed with your detailed write up and gorgeous photos @4x4tographer! @jgaz We shot the eclipse using our Nikon D800 with the Tamron SP 150-600mm lens plus a solar filter. Same setup we used for the total solar eclipse in 2017. Unfortunately, our D800’s 10 pin remote port was broken so we were not able to use the Nikon MC-30A Remote Trigger Release, we used the timer instead to reduce vibration. Here is one of the shots taken during the early stages of the eclipse with sun spots showing and the uneven surface of the moon. Here is a composite of the handful of our favorite shots from the whole event. Here are some photos of our setup.

We are poking around the idea of doing Rubicon around 8/13-8/18 this year. We have never been and would love to invite those who had been or brave enough to go with us so we are not there soloing. Any takers? 🤗

So far so good. The steering has improved greatly.

We replaced our factory ball joints on our 2021 JLUR with new rebuildable Dynatrac HD Ball Joints today! It was not too hard except that the knuckle was stuck and took a lot of effort to get out of the old ball joints.

Hi everyone, I finally got the Mammoth trip video from last April published! I am so sorry it took me this long! This year, I am going to work hard to try and get caught up, somehow~ I am 12 videos behind. HAHA... This was such an amazing trip! Thanks everyone for letting us join the adventure and film~
