dzJeepChic 2,897 Posted May 25, 2014 Look who's Jeep is getting a little TLC in George's Auto Spa & Boutique today: Among a bunch of other things, George extended the disconnect brackets on both sides to keep the Currie Correct-a-Link steering from rubbing on the factory disconnect brackets: The first design didn't get it high enough, but here's G designing a completely custom disconnect bracket: Driver's side view: Say nighty-night! dzJeepChic 2,897 Posted May 27, 2014 Hockey Puck bump-stop install: Remove spring, drill 3/8" hole: Weld on nuts to accept 3/8" bolt: Drill out the center of the hockey pucks: Using a larger drill bit, hone out a space to counter-sink the welded on nut: scottL's shock was hitting the unibody frame stiffener on the passenger side at full flex: Where the shock was hitting: George ground it out to eliminate the rub: The top puck also got counter-sunk for the bolt head and washer.
