    Last month Gwen and I went to Big Bear Lake Ca to take in the Inland Empire 4 Wheelers Big Bear Forest Fest. We have been to Big Bear 4 wheeling several times before but never at this event. Friday night we went on the Gold Mountain run which is rated difficult by the forest service. it has a few tough spots but nothing major. We got back to camp @ midnight. Saturday was the White Mountain run and John Bull on Sunday. We camped at the event which was at Snow Mountain Ski Resort west of Big Bear. Overall a fun time. Heres a few random pics.     I can't tell from the pic but machine shops usually put a small tab the size of a nickle to I.D. the head in case its brought back later for warranty work etc. never seen one a freeze plug. I have seen similar freeze plugs on crate motors that will show if the head or block ever experiences excessive heat therefor voiding the warranty. anyway hope this solves the problem of over heating.

    so I think water wetter additives were already mentioned with clifford but whats the opinion on these type of additives. My 97 TJ 4.0 shop manual says not to add these types of additives, any thoughts?
