sometimes. on 134a system they are different size stem so yes. you might try a valve stem puller. Normally the problem is not that they are loose but they are leaking around the seal. WARNING!!!! Do not unscrew when system is charged.

The pressure will depend on the ambient temperature. Measure 5 feet in front of the radiator. you should be able to find a chart that will give you the specs online. make sure you check the evap and the front compressor seal. I have had several compressors that only leak after they have run and been turned off. If you have a leak and prior to filling the system you need to recover the system, flush the system and pull a vacuum on the system for at least 15 min.This is the only way to make sure you do not have moisture in the system, which will mess with the pressures and efficiency of the a/c.

True, most engine only need 87. 91 provides a better flame front during ignition, depending on cylinder configuration and will reduce engine knock in some engine.

Did you factor in driving conditions, stop lights, lead foot, number of starts etc? Octane should have no effect on mpg.

Pulled the engine yesterday and mounted it on the engine stand. took about an hour to clean the crap off just enough to see the block. Started dismantling and more cleaning. See pic of leaking core plug.

You say water, i hope you mean coolant.

We arrived home safely, took a shower, a nap, set up camp to dry off, and we are done. Good to see everyone! J
