Count us in. 4 people. Easy trail. We can bring propane, Just need to know whether you need the small 1# or if a 20# size works, (and if you want/need a 3rd grille, we can do that too)...

Oops... My bad for not proofing my post. That should have read a 450 amp or higher Circuit Breaker or fuse. IF you choose this route, it needs to be installed between the hot (positive) cable for the winch, and the Batt positive post. That said, very few folks use them, but instead make sure to inspect and add extra insulation and smooth any shape edges, wherever they occur during routing of the Winch positive cable.

Just texted you some info. In short: A connection of the cables direct to the battery will work, just take care to add insulation to any areas that have sharp edges (like using the grill slots for routing). An extra layer of safety to prevent battery melt-down thermal events, would be to add a *450 (or larger) amp circuit breaker between the winch positive cable and the positive post of the battery. (*) 11/4/24: Correction to poor proof-reading before original post...

Depending on the model of the Boefang, it may have the ability to also use the GMRS frequencies.

Many of the high clay content soils in the SW also have some percentage of alkalinity, which means they are corrosive when mixed with moisture. The alkalinity helps retain the moisture, so places that get coated in this mixture are best cleaned first with dry compressed air, to reduce the chances of making a corrosive mixture out of it... (Caution... Be sure to wear a dust mask when doing this, or use a fan to carry the dust away from your breathing organs...) While most of us in AZ don't have much of an issue with corrosion issues, It doesn't take many seasons for vehicles used in these environments to have corrosion issues... For example, next time you are in on of the farming areas here, take a look at the farm tucks that are exposed to this soil in the form of dust and/or muck. Some look as if they've spent their lives in Michigan or Chicago, where plenty of rust damage is prevalent... ;)

They are one of (if not the only) remaining family owned snow tour operators in Yellowstone, (the rest being corporate owned...AKA Aramark). We feel blessed to have found them for our first tour with them about half dozen years ago. They've gone out of their way to adapt to the changing weather conditions, and to make sure we had a great trip. Local and knowledgeable guides. This past year a large portion of Yellowstone was closed to snowmobiling due to a lack of snow, in fact much of the area was lacking snow. We WERE able to get some time in the open portions of the park, and they patched together a couple of trails outside the park that were stunningly beautiful as well, even if they were not in the park, so we could fill the originally planned # of trip days as we had family & friends coming to join us from across the country. Highly recommend them to anyone considering a snow-tour of the area.

Ryan, I initially tried to keep it un-complicated, but after re-reading my response, I figured "In for an ounce, in for a pound", so I've edited my response RE: Axle Tramp... ?Have ID'd these changes in bold & added (* #'s) to them for identification...
